OPS! is the contemporary circus festival directed by SIC, the circus production center founded by Circo El Grito, "the company that moves the boundary between the arts" (Il Corriere della Sera). Among the many new features of this third edition is an International Grand Gala of Contemporary Circus with world-renowned stars (in Sala Petrassi from Jan. 2-6, 2025) and complementary programming at Teatro Vascello where, among other things, the acclaimed "Luz de Luna" by Fabiana Ruiz Diaz of Circo El Grito returns to the stage. The result? Even more shows await you at Christmas where acrobatics and tightrope walking, virtuosity and circus marvels are combined with theater, dance and live music. "Direct heirs of that wandering theater made of balance defiance, clownish fiasco, juggler's skill and marquee charm, rather than betray, we try to translate tradition by renewing it in the contemporary context.
