It is definitely a very challenging goal, especially for the listener, but with a little irony and sense of play, even the double bass can become a good storyteller. “The Need to Go Low,” recorded live during a concert at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, is a “solo” record in which the author makes use only of double bass, electronics and sound materials.
