Home Productions Stunt
Two musicians endowed with great creativity and instrumental technique, two artists who masterfully combine creative impetus and lyricism, improvisation and melody, technical virtuosity and poetry have come together to bring to life a new CD from Parco della Musica Records. The album “Stunt” witnesses the meeting between trumpeter Fabrizio Bosso and accordionist and pianist Antonello Salis.
In this project under the banner of contemporary jazz music, Boxwood e Salis were able to give free rein to their inventiveness by playing interpretations inspired by some famous themes such as “Body & Soul,” “Caravan,” “Georgia on My Mind,” “Mach The Knife,” “Besame Mucho,” “Rome Don’t Be Stupid Tonight,” “Sunday Is Always Sunday,” and many original songs that arose from the session. The record conveys a unique energy the result of perfect musical understanding and great spontaneity and freedom to improvise.
