Lydian Sound Orchestra
A journey of great jazz music, alternating between original compositions by Brazzale and standards by Duke Ellington, Wayne Shorter, Thelonius Monk, Miles Davis, Paul Simon and others.
Lydian Sound Orchestra‘s new sound journey, “Mare 1519,” was recorded in the studio in June 2019 at Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone. The stages of this journey of great jazz music alternate between original compositions by Brazzale and standards by Duke Ellington, Wayne Shorter, Thelonius Monk, Miles Davis, Paul Simon and others. This is the orchestra’s second album produced by Parco della Musica Records. The previous one, “We Resist,” was released two years after the ‘Music For Lonely Souls record release and was received with great enthusiasm by critics and audiences. In 2018, the Lydian Sound Orchestra was named by Top Jazz 2018 as the Best Ensemble of the Year.
