Published by Parco della Musica, “Records Travel Notes” is a journey through the notes of one of the leading figures in contemporary jazz music, Rosario Bonaccorso, who is in fact establishing himself as one of the most influential and representative figures in European jazz. The disc collects eleven original tracks, true travel notes, which recompose Bonaccorso ‘s musical journey and are recorded under his artistic guidance for the first time.
Bonaccorso brings together in this record his 25 years of experience as a sideman alongside big names in international music with his extraordinary inventiveness and compositional imagination. Accompanying him are extraordinary talents such as pianist Andrea Pozza (formerly together in Rava‘s quintet), trumpeter Andy Gravish and drummer Nicola Angelucci.
Rosario Bonaccorso is a musician of great communication, highly appreciated since the beginning of his career for his natural talents, pronounced creativity, knowledge of tradition and for that charge of energy he can impart to the rhythm section. These qualities have over the years made him one of the most sought-after double bass players in the industry.
