After the successful debut album “Diálektos,” which witnessed the extraordinary musical encounter between vocalist Maria Pia De Vito and English pianist and composer Huw Warren, the jazz duo returns to record, for Parco della Musica Records, the highly anticipated new album “O Pata Pata.” The album’s tracklist contains original songs with lyrics in Neapolitan by Maria Pia De Vito and music by Rita Marcotulli, Ralph Towner, José Miguel Soares, Wisnik Hermeto Pascoal, Bojan Zulfikarpasic, Chico Buarque de Hollanda, Vinicius De Moraes, Antonio Carlos Jobim Angelo Nelson, Lacerda Benedito, and Alfredo da Rocha Vianna Junior. The record testifies to the durability of the great artistic understanding between two musicians with strong personalities and a desire to embark on new musical paths.
