Thanks to the contribution of the Dark Dry Tears, Danilo Gallo continues to give sound to his innermost, malinco-punk-retroock-grunge-melodic soul, giving it a chance to lubricate itself through universal music.
Four years after the release of his first record “Thinking Beats Where Mind Dies” recorded and produced by Parco della Musica Records (a top 10 record in 2016 in Italy and Spain), Danilo Gallo, with his Dark Dry Tears lineup, releases a new record of original compositions.
“Hide, Show Yourself!” goes far beyond the classic concept of jazz music, thanks in part to a highly original lineup: alongside the ecclectic bassist, a cross-cultural, creative, risk-taking musician who is always ready and curious about new adventures, sit the drumming ace Jim Black, one of the greatest architects of downtown New York, Massimiliano Milesi e Francesco Bigoni, both on tenor sax and clarinet.
Danilo Gallo continues to give sound to his innermost, malinco-punk-retrorock-grunge-melodic soul, giving it a chance to lubricate itself through universal music, allowing the tears of that soul, dark and dry, to flow, without rigid boundaries or predetermined intentions or meanings.
