The Tricycles is not simply another jazz trio, at least not for the musicians who are part of it. To describe in two words the key to the work one can say that, regardless of any cyclical temptation (or enjoyment) of genre, the goal is always to use the trio as a free zone to guarantee creativity and the sanctity of performance, where to produce music as genuine and unrelated to any contextualization as possible. Although under the name Tricycles this trio has been playing for at least a decade, paradoxically this can be considered the first record by Maurizio Giammarco, Dario Deidda and John B. Arnold together.
