Marco Sinopoli Extradiction's first record for Parco della Musica Records brings together a woodwind trio and a jazz quartet and brings to life a distinctive and sophisticated sound, between written and improvised notes.
The Marco Sinopoli Extradiction project was born from a meeting of modern jazz music and composition. An ensemble in which the evocative timbre of the woodwind trio (flute, clarinet and bassoon) and the pressing rhythm of the jazz quartet converge in a distinctive and sophisticated sound between written and improvised notes. What emerges is a multifaceted music, with dense rhythmic and melodic interlocks, united in a refined but extremely communicative and engaging harmony, in which different musical styles weave toward a single direction. “Chromatic Landscape” is the first record by Marco Sinopoli Extradiction released by Parco della Musica Records.

This record work is intended to represent the first of a long series that will see us engaged in the coming years in the search and evolution of an increasingly distinctive and inspired sound,” explains Marco Sinopoli.
