The Fondazione Musica per Roma announces the 18th edition of Equilibrio, Rome's contemporary dance festival, which presents the best of international and Italian choreography at the Auditorium Parco della Musica and other theaters in the capital.
After a preview in late January with the highly anticipated latest creation of Peeping Tom at Teatro Argentina, the program runs for two weeks – February 9 to 24, 2024 - with big names on the European scene, such as Benjamin Millepied, Wayne McGregor, Anne Van Den Broek, Marcos Morau and rising stars of national choreography Sofia Nappi and Damiano Bigi.
Amid debuts, co-productions, the much sought-after Night at the Auditorium for girls and boys, talks and screenings, the 2024 edition further expands collaborations with leading dance and performance organizations: those with Teatro di Roma and Orbita Spellbound are renewed, while a prestigious new partnership is launched with Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, which opens the Festival in Sala Petrassi with its Corps de Ballet.
Fourteen evenings that will thrill both enthusiasts and those entering the world of dance for the first time, celebrating the renewal of this universal art and redesigning the future that awaits it.
