Balance 2025

10.02.25 - 22.02.25

The Fondazione Musica per Roma announces the 19th edition of Equilibrio, Rome's contemporary dance festival, which presents the best of international choreography at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone and other venues in the capital. The 2025 program runs for two weeks-Feb. 10-22-with the most significant names on the European scene, such as Maud Le Pladec, Trajal Harrell, Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Radouan Mriziga, Jesús Rubio Gamo and Marco da Silva Ferreira . For the fourth year in a row, the Festival welcomes a choreography by Marcos Morau, this time performed by the 20-year-old dancers of Ballet Junior de Genève, who are also engaged in a new version of "Turning" by Alessandro Sciarroni. Equilibrio also renews its intertwining with the Orbita Spellbound season by presenting works by Luna Cenere, Valentina Dal Mas, Michele Abbondanza and Antonella Bertoni. Unmissable is the return of the highly anticipated Night at the Auditorium for girls and children with family shows. Rhythm, percussion and live music are the main elements of an edition that promises to be irreverent, with a pop and militant slant, and capable of involving both fans and those who for the first time are approaching the world of dance.
