Tuesday, April 4, 2023: Vintage, is it worth it?
Many are attic products that are making a comeback. Along with vinyls, for example, we find many vintage turntables or modern antique amplifiers. But is it worthwhile to dust off these items, often cloaked in old memories, or, thanks to current technologies, is it preferable to turn to the new? Poor availability of spare parts and/or modest performance often discourage their purchase or repair. We will make considerations, examples, and draw conclusions that can help the enthusiast get his or her bearings.
