The idea of talking and "playing" of 1969 starts first of all from a personal suggestion, that of trying to share the feeling we had at the time is still alive within us, of being overwhelmed by a sequence of strong and different musical phenomena, all carrying a precious seed. Music that seemed to be able to change the listener, allowing new visions, new ideas, and new feelings. Music that has certainly changed us. almost a coming-of-age tale, then, that continues far beyond the generation that experienced it firsthand.
1969 è full of new beginnings, King Crimson, Led Zeppelin, Iggy Pop, it is the year of the first big hits of the Jackson 5 and David Bowie, of Battisti 's first time as a singer at Sanremo, of reconfirmations such as for the Rolling Stones or Creedence, è the year of the Beatles' resounding farewell, Miles Davis' electric turn, and then Woodstock, which, thanks to cinema, endlessly multiplies an audience already ocean and tell the rest of the world where è rock has arrived.
