The voice and songs of Samuele Bersani merge with the magic of 36 orchestra elements in one unrepeatable evening: on June 11 at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone on the occasion of Roma Summer Fest 2023, Samuele will be in concert accompanied by the Orchestra dei Pomeriggi Musicali, under the direction of Maestro Pietro Mianiti, with orchestration by Vittorio Cosma.
A date that is the crowning achievement of a collaboration rooted in a memorable live performance at Milan's Teatro Dal Verme in 2015, but also brings to the surface Bersani's lifelong interest in composition and symphonic music, even as a child, the son of a flutist, listening to J.S. Bach's Brandenburg Concertos and conducting von Karajan with a breadstick. Together with the 36 Orchestra Professors, Samuel's hits will be given a completely new reading that, in addition to the orchestral momentum, will live on a delicate and powerful performance together.
A confrontation between languages, between different approaches to text and interpretation, in search of a common territory that will allow music to penetrate between words and images, accompanying them, commenting on them, enhancing them and sometimes overwhelming them. Bersani will play an unreleased setlist covering different facets of his 30-year repertoire: from big hits, to songs from his latest album "Cinema Samuele" (winner of his fifth Targa Tenco).
