Les Étoiles

A cascade of stars for the glittering ballet gala curated by Daniele Cipriani, who draws from the firmament of dance to bring his brightest étoiles to the stage. The cast of Les Étoiles is made up of the biggest names in classical ballet, a veritable "stable of one-offs," flamboyant dancers with shining personalities and sparkling technique, in a rich program of "virtuosity in flight and on pointe," as the now famous slogan of this international gala goes. Fast and snappy, the étoiles are capable of giving the audience prodigious moments of bravura, enriched by the poetry of intense interpretations and the emotions that only true artists are capable of arousing in the audience. Alongside the most iconic and exciting pas de deux from the classical repertoire.

The program of Les Étoiles is always fresh as it is full of novelties: choreographies presented as national or international premieres, works of sophisticated modernity signed by choreographers on today's crest of the wave. Les Étoiles is a concentration of spectacular beauty that implicitly hints at a higher beauty. Art has this mission; Les Étoiles carries its message, which, at this moment in history, takes on an absolute urgency. The names on the bill and the program attract a wide and diverse audience of all ages, including many tourists. Over 7,500 spectators in the Santa Cecilia Hall (January 2023), vast media coverage, with presentations, interviews and reviews, on national and regional networks, on the pages of major newspapers, on the covers of weekly magazines.

They crossed the stage of Les Étoiles stars the size of Svetlana Zakharova, Marianela Nuñez, Eleonora Abbagnato, Natalia Osipova, Ivan Vasiliev, Vladimir Shklyarov, Daniil Simkin, Sergio Bernal, Tiler Peck, Polina Semionova, Vadim Muntagirov, Denis Rodkin, Jacopo Tissi, Aurélie Dupont, Joaquin de Luz. We could go on and on with an endless list of stars from the world's major companies such as Moscow's Bolshoi, St. Petersburg's Mariinsky, Hamburg Ballet, London's Royal Ballet, Paris Opera or New York City Ballet. Equally international is the list of choreographers, so that Les Étoiles ends up presenting itself as a model of an ideal society and world. Les Étoiles becomes The United Nations of Dance, the hymn to a stellar harmony, to a human harmony.
