The choir was founded by Allan Bailey, who has more than 30 years of experience in the music industry, appreciated for his work with the Commodores, Michael Jackson and Prince. TheHarlem Gospel Choir 's notoriety is mainly related to its numerous collaborations with international artists such as: Andre Rieu, Diana Ross, Bono, The Chieftains, Simple Minds, Live, Sinead O'Connor and the Gorillaz.
