Our planet is rich in geophysical phenomena that are often associated with risks to human beings: among them, earthquakes and volcanoes are particularly important examples because they allow us to study and understand the Earth's internal structure, history and evolution. These phenomena are often found in tales of folk tradition. Francesca Satta Flores' theatrical adaptation, staged by the Ile Flottante company, revolves around modern nursery rhymes and traditional myths from different cultures to recount, in spectacular and playful language, humanity's relationship with our planet and the scientific knowledge it has developed over the centuries.
