Earl Bynum producer, author, teacher returns to Italy with a ten-piece lineup selected by the choral The Mount Unity Choir, an integral part of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church a chorale of more than one hundred members, which today is considered the epicenter of the Baptist denomination in Virginia and expresses high artistic potential with its own Norfolk-based music education branch called "The Mount." Following his success on past tours, in which he has performed in numerous Italian and European theaters, churches and auditoriums, Bynum offers this selection that includes seven vocalists with support from piano, keyboards and rhythm section. The choir's performance proves to be an authentic testimony of vibrant and heartfelt sharing, of passionately participatory prayer. A perfect mix of multiple influences of traditional Gospel, contemporary, and close to jazz arrangements, skillfully dosed and delivered with energy and great skill. On many occasions guest of honor on the dedicated gospel show Bobby Jones Gospel Show on BET Television, with their CD the Mount Unity Choir won the major recognition as Best Church Choir at the 2013 "Neighborhood Awards" and in January 2014 won the gospel grammy by boasting the "Stellar Awards" as Best Contemporary Gospel Choir. A member of the Gospel Announcers Guild of the Gospel Music Workshop of America and the Backstage Committee-GMWA, Bynum is one of the most active entertainers of the Virginia Gospel scene, organizing conventions, stages and workshops.
