Founder of Codice Edizioni in 2003, a cultural factory active in science popularization through events, festivals, publishing activities. He founded the Genoa Science Festival in 2003 and has been director of the Rome Science Festival since 2005. He has several exhibition curatorships to his credit and has been a lecturer for several years at the Universities of Siena, Urbino, Turin and IULM-Milan. He founded the publishing house Il melangolo and headed the Giulio Einaudi publishing house for eleven years.
