She was born as a geomorphologist, but has not used a hammer for some time. Conducts, for more than two decades, environmental monitoring in the marine environment related to anthropogenic works, with specific attention to sedimentological and geophysical aspects. She works on submarine cables and pipelines and their potential impacts as part of specific national research projects related to the institutional work of ISPRA, where she is currently a researcher.
