An industrial chemist by training, he has been on the editorial staff of "Le Scienze" and "Mind" since 2005, and the journals' website. He was editor of Radio3 Science and from 2017 to 2019 was adjunct director for the journalism part of the International Science Journalism School Ettore Majorana Center for Scientific Culture in Erice. He has been editor of "Knowledge" and Galileonet.it. He has written for "la Repubblica" and "l'Espresso." He received his master's degree in science communication Franco Prattico at SISSA in Trieste.
