Science communicator, environmental journalist and photojournalist. He contributes to National Geographic, Le Scienze and Repubblica. He has participated in scientific expeditions to Nepal, the Amazon, the Arctic and Antarctica. He is the author of children's stories and popular science books (Code and Scienceexpress) and is a chronic traveler. In 2012 he won the Piazzano Prize for science journalism.
