Gary Clark Jr.

Steeped in the great tradition of the American songbook, Gary Clark Jr. emerges as a rock & roll genius of the 21st century; a blues virtuoso who fuses reggae, punk, R&B, hip-hop and soul, reshaping the genre for our time. Gary Clark has been making music since he was very young, but after winning his first GRAMMY Award in 2014 for Best Traditional R&B Performance for "Please Come Home," he began to tour the world with his music. However, it is only in 2019 that Clark rises even higher with his third album, the sensual and socially conscious "This Land," which peaks at No. 6 on the Billboard Top 200, his third consecutive Top 10 debut. "This Land" has been acclaimed by the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork and many others. Clark has topped the charts at festivals and venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, shared the stage with the Rolling Stones, and performed at the White House for the Obama family. In 2020, Gary Clark cleaned up at the GRAMMYs, winning awards for best rock performance, best rock song ("This Land") and best contemporary blues album. To date, Clark has earned six GRAMMY nominations and four wins. The artist is currently working on the follow-up to "This Land," continuing to experiment and push the envelope of American roots music.
