Appointed by the Head of State Alfiere della Repubblica Italiana for scientific and popular merits, he has written a scientific publication and six books on birds and their evolution. He contributes to newspapers and magazines such as Corriere della Sera, Focus Junior and #Natura, the Carabinieri Corps' environment and territory magazine. He is a regular guest on various radio and TV programs of RAI and private broadcasters. Conducts lectures in schools, museums and parks.
