A writer and journalist, he holds a bachelor's degree in biotechnology and writes articles and insights for national and international journals, focusing particularly on the intersection of science and culture. He published the novels Condominium R39 (Einaudi, 2014), A Moment Before (Einaudi, 2017). In his essay-report on the climate crisis The Other World: Life on a Changing Planet (Bompiani, 2021) he investigated the cognitive and cultural limitations that make it difficult to take note of the climate emergency in its complexity.
