Researcher in ISPRA since 2003. A graduate in contemporary history from the University of Salento, she is currently a librarian and historian of the Geosciences. She is the author of several works on the History of Geology particularly on the birth of geotematic mapping in Italy in the 19th century. Member for Italy of the International Commission on the History of Geological Sciences - IUGS. Participates in numerous interdisciplinary science popularization projects on "open air" historical-environmental issues.
