The name Big Time Rush caused a stir in November 2009 when the television series of the same name was launched on Nickelodeon. The show centered on the Hollywood adventures of four Minnesota field hockey players selected to form a boy band. The show was a huge success and later Carlos, Kendall, James, and Logan came to life as an off-screen band, releasing three full albums and performing all over the world. After the show ended in July 2013, and after four years of recording and touring as a band, their paths parted, but they remained close friends over the years.
